Rumors of “bots with guns” spread as our beautiful city takes fire from Federation forces

Earlier this morning, our forces in Arcadia came under heavy fire in a dastardly offensive by the Federation. Our strategists have anticipated an effort to break the months-long stalemate on the Western Front after our hard-fought victory at Borea, but not one of such barbarity: while our valiant defenders are holding strong against the enemy, our equally brave medics are reporting casualties in the hundreds. In addition, we have been made aware of rumors regarding supposed new Federation weapons — “combat droids” or “bots with guns,” to quote the two most common descriptions — spreading across the Internet. We at the OK Daily strongly recommend that readers disregard these blatantly false rumors and report anyone seen or heard spreading it to your nearest Guard Station. Remember, have faith in the Council, and everything will be OK.
